The star. The showstopper. The room’s anchor.

Some of our favorite wedding receptions have one thing in common: a dance floor installation so extraordinary, it commands the room. The kind that draws every eye, finds its way into every camera roll, and makes everything else momentarily fade into the background.

We knew this would be one of those moments the second we finished it.

Conceived with a wild Western spirit and an untamed sense of imagination, this floating installation strikes a balance between the unexpected and the exquisitely refined.

Every stem intentionally placed. Every petal considered. Every detail designed to draw you in.

The room where forever begins. How lucky are we to be part of that?!

A very special number for a very special bride, Erica

The Solarium at Denver Botanic Gardens is one of those spaces that leaves us speechless every time we walk through its doors. So when one of our brides chooses it for her wedding day, we can’t help but jump for joy.

For this late-autumn garden fantasy, we leaned into a deep burgundy palette, punctuated by unexpected notes of chartreuse. Tables overflowed with the season’s best: woven grasses, kiwis, pomegranates, figs, trailing amaranthus, and blush-kissed lisianthus. An abundance of texture, color, and seasonal beauty, all coming together in a way that felt unmistakably autumn.

Another reception to add to the long list of designs we’ll find ourselves thinking about every time fall comes around!

If October was a ceremony, it would look like this. 🍁

There’s something about flowers and a mountain view that makes the ceremony architecture of Devil's Thumb Ranch Weddings feel softer.

For Caren and Lance’s wedding, we brought in a classic fall palette through seasonal blooms and a kind of creative magic that only happens when you’re designing for two people deeply in love during one of the most romantic times of the year.

We created a color-blocked ceremony story inspired by the landscape itself: bright yellows for the aspens, deep oranges for the changing leaves, and rich reds pulled from the maples.

It felt like designing our own little autumn forest, a miniature version of a perfect sunny day spent leaf-peeping-translated into flowers, color, and celebration.

This Día de los Mu***os celebration with our friends jaala & co. | the PARTY PANTRY is a perfect case study in how to throw a spooky-season soirée and elevate it with style. The art of entertaining is all about balance: moody meets playful, with every detail thoughtfully considered.

Marigolds and mums bring warmth and vibrancy to the table, while flickering candlelight and layers of decorative lighting cast everything in an effortless glow.

What shows up when you search pure joy.

Pure joy. That’s what we see when we look at Lauren + Sam’s wedding.

And then there are those ceremony flowers!

We have a serious thing for ground arches. Why? Because they’re less “traditional wedding arch” and more “let’s build an entire garden right here.”

Delphiniums reaching skyward. Lisianthus seeds scattered like little floral surprises. Mums, always mums. Layers upon layers of flowers doing their thing.

It’s landscaping. It’s gardening. It’s floristry. It’s a little bit of sculpture and a whole lot of art, designed with a whole lot of love. Our couples deserve nothing less than that.

Like it grew there.

The most compelling designs don’t announce themselves.

Set against the views of Devil's Thumb Ranch Weddings , this ceremony became an exercise in letting the landscape lead. We followed its movement, its tones, its textures, allowing each stem to retain its own character while becoming part of something larger.

“Like it grew there” is a sentiment we carry into everything we create. Not forcing nature into a composition, but listening to what’s already there and building from it.

The goal is simple: to step back and feel completely immersed. To wonder where the landscape ends and the design begins.

(Fall)ing back in love with autumn dances and fall fêtes.

Pass the fig jam. Pour the toasted cinnamon martini. And let’s stay a little longer in September and embrace the delicious in-between, before the leaves fully turn and the sweaters take over.

This shoot with @ is a celebration of that sweet spot: warm textures paired with lush, oversized stems; moody, deeper hues playing off unexpected pops of pattern. This is our kind of party.

Oceana’s Gardens continues to be a showstopper in its own right, and we were thrilled to bring our point of view to this soirée. A true dream collaboration with the very best:

If heaven were a reception, it might look a little something like this.

Part III of our Aspen adventure. The final act. The wedding reception.

Priya and Vinny’s reception shared a visual language with their ceremony (see linked reel), carrying forward the same color story but softening it into something lighter, airier, and ethereal.

The room felt as though it were floating on a cloud. Lush white blooms spilling from mixed centerpieces, calla lilies springing from bud vases, and layers of white drapery that made the entire space feel kissed by an angel.

We couldn’t have imagined a better ending to our Aspen weekend.

And to the dream team who came along for the ride: same time, next wedding season?

Few ceremonies leave us speechless; this is one of them.

Part II of our Aspen Adventure! See Part I in our linked reel.

Priya and Vinny’s wedding ceremony came dripping in cream and lime. The courtyard The St. Regis Aspen became our canvas for a sculptural design moment, where the team brought movement, mono-bloom styling, and unexpected scale together to create a high end ceremony with a chic and modern flair. It was the perfect complement to the couple’s contemporary take on an Indian wedding.

What we loved most was watching hotel guests and onlookers stop in their tracks, completely mesmerized by the moment unfolding before them.

Mentally, we’re still there. And, truthfully, we’re not quite done yet. Stay tuned for the final chapter of our time in Aspen!
