When I first started DJing and throwing events, all I really wanted was to get my friends in the same room.
I’ve always felt like I’ve found absolute gem humans; and I needed them to know each other. ✨
Somewhere along the way, my perfectionism crept in.
Obsessing over every transition.
Stressing about whether the set sounds “good enough.”
Being way harder on myself than anyone else ever would be.
But at so many of my friends showed up and at one point I looked up from the decks and just paused….
I forgot…THIS is the whole point.
Community.
Strangers dancing together.
Smiling faces.
Flow artists moving like magic around the room.
Worries and differences melting into the music.
Being human…together.
R!AHT means creation.
To stand up for what’s right.
To do what you love without shrinking.
To chase the vision on your heart; boldly and without fear.
To give back to the community that holds you.
To remember we were never meant to do this life alone.
To create meaningful change, starting with yourself and rippling outward into your community.
