My name is Kristin and I am the owner of Forget Me Knot Weddings. Being a wedding planner is my dream job! I absolutely love working with couples 💍 to create the best night of their lives! Making dream visions come to life is my favorite part. 💒

A little about me:
-I grew up on Long Island and spent many many summers in The Hamptons. I’m a beach bum 🏖️ whenever I can get close to sand & water! I grew up fishing 🎣 with my dad and always say a day on the boat 🚤 is better than any day on land!
-I’m absolutely obsessed with my mini Bernedoodle puppy .the.mini.bernadoodle … my little sidekick. 🐶
-After working in the wedding industry for many years 📆 (in many different aspects from venue manager to wedding sales manager for a catering company 🍲), I started Forget Me Knot Weddings in 2019 and it has been an amazing journey growing this company.

I feel so blessed to work with such amazing couples like Alyx and Caleb. They are so sweet and grateful for everybody in their life (which is why the bride had 15 bridesmaids!). This day went off without a hitch and getting these pictures back from .paddle.photography has made my day!

On this day... 23 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a Francophile (lover of all things French!). I studied French all throughout middle and high school and then majored in French Education in college and became a middle school French Teacher for 5 years in NY. I studied abroad in France in high school and then in Paris for a semester in college (best thing I’ve done in my life).

Tonight’s opening ceremonies were absolutely beautiful. There were several moments that gave me goose bumps (and maybe a tear), but Celine Deon was definitely at the top of that list. The light show off of the Eiffel Tower and the opera singer on top of Place de la Concorde also blew my mind! 🤯 Bravo France! 🇫🇷

Go Team USA!! 🇺🇸 I’ll be glued to the tv for all of women’s gymnastics! 🤸
