This vibrant celebration of texture, color and creativity with a group exhibition showcasing the bold, innovative work of contemporary Colorado artists working in a range of fiber media.

Featuring works by Andrea Fischer, Al Canner, Sarah Darlene, Ladies Fancywork Society, REO, Ilan Gutin, Erin McAllister, G. Roslie, Ally Grime, Key Air, Johnny Draco, Nora Schuchat, Heather Schulte and Steven Frost.

Whether you’re drawn to the tactile beauty of handmade materials, fascinated by the artistry of textile techniques, or simply curious about the many ways fabric can tell a story, "Fiber Art Today" invites you to see fiber in a whole new way.

📷 NOW ON VIEW 📷 Denver Arts & Venues in collaboration with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center, proudly presents "Colorado Perspectives: Visions in Photography," a juried exhibition that celebrates the creativity and vision of Colorado's photography community through CPAC members living in Colorado.

As part of the Month of Photography Denver, this exhibition showcases a rich array of photographic styles and approaches to the medium and aims to celebrate the diverse range of work being created by CPAC members, from traditional approaches to innovative, experimental processes.

The cornerstone of the McNichols Civic Center Building was laid on April 11, 1907, setting the foundation for the then-Carnegie Library that would become a center of learning in Civic Center Park. That tradition continued when Denver Arts & Venues reopened the building in 2012 as a contemporary hub for arts and culture for the people of Denver, including restoration of some of the building's original features.

If you're seeking a place to reflect, remember and reconnect for Día de los Mu***os, stop by "Woven Memories: Día de los Mu***os/Day of the Dead" in the first floor gallery.

This exhibition showcases the original works of Denver artist Cal Duran, honoring the ancestors with his installation of several large Ojo de Dios (God’s Eye), a paper mâché Quetzalcoatl (feathered serpent) and several skulls and skeletons.

Admission is free and open to all Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We're just a couple of weeks out from áyA Con con on Oct. 4-6! The word áyA is a Lakota word meaning to change to become and this weekend focuses on sharing perspectives, celebrating differences and connecting through a shared love for art and nerd culture. The festival festival highlights comics and storytelling, illustration, traditional arts, fashion, performance and more!
