-Sustainability: Couples are increasingly looking for ways to make their weddings more sustainable. This can be done by choosing eco-friendly materials, vendors, and practices.
-Personalization: Couples want their weddings to be a reflection of their unique personalities. This can be done through the details, such as the invitations, favors, and food.
-Intimate weddings: Couples are opting for smaller, more intimate weddings. This allows them to spend more time with their guests and create a more personal experience.
-Outdoor weddings: Couples are choosing to have their weddings outdoors, in natural settings. This creates a more relaxed and romantic atmosphere.
-Non-traditional weddings: Couples are breaking away from traditional wedding customs and creating their own unique ceremonies. This can include anything from having a destination wedding to wearing non-white wedding dresses.

Make sure to tell anyone giving a toast at your Wedding to keep it to around 2-3 minutes! If you want to have a lot of toasts or you want longer speeches, I recommend these occur during your rehearsal dinner instead!

Are you having a traditional cake at your Wedding or are you going with something different? Whatever you decide is all that matters! I like to remind my couples that there's no "right" way to do a Wedding, its whatever they want!

Wedding season is fast approaching here in Colorado! The peak season usually lasts from May until October. Colorado weather is very unpredictable though so always have a plan B for an outside ceremony just in case!

I often hear couples say that they don't need a Day of Coordinator because their venue provides a Coordinator, so I thought this post may help clarify the two positions.
A Day of Coordinator and a Venue Coordinator are two different roles. If you are looking for someone to create your timeline, communicate everything to your vendor team, plan and lead your Ceremony rehearsal and be the point person on your Wedding Day (and more) then you are looking for a Day of Coordinator.
A Venue Coordinator's role will vary by venue so be sure to confirm what all they will be assisting with before and during your Wedding Day.
