5 Reasons You NEED a Getaway Car for Your Elopement
Because driving off into the sunset as newlyweds is a whole vibe.
1. THE PHOTOS ARE ICONIC
Seriously, there’s just something about a badass car, a mountain backdrop, and two newlyweds that makes for some ridiculously cool photos.
2. IT’S ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Your elopement shouldn’t feel like one long photoshoot. Cruising down a scenic mountain road together, blasting your favorite songs, and soaking in that just-married feeling? THAT’S a memory.
3. IT’S OK TO BE EXTRA
There are only a handful of moments in life that call for going all out, and getting married is definitely one of them! So rent the vintage car, put the top down, and make a grand entrance (or exit!). If there’s ever a day to be a little extra, it’s your wedding day!
4. YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED A GRAND EXIT

A little mountain magic in Crested Butte, Colorado. 🏔️
There’s just something about exchanging vows surrounded by towering mountains, alpine lakes, and the kind of scenery that makes you stop and take it all in.
Colleen and Matt’s elopement was a reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to be complicated to be incredible. Just the two of you, a beautiful place, and a day that feels completely your own.

Landree and Brodin’s elopement day was one of the wildest I’ve had in a while!

Their original location sat around 12,000 feet, but with lightning storms in the forecast, we made the call to switch to a lower-elevation spot with more tree coverage.

(One of the many reasons to hire an experienced a photographer 👀)

And then the weather decided to really show off.

Halfway through their ceremony, the wind picked up, pea-sized hail started coming down, and we all made a run for the trees with our clear umbrellas. After about 30 minutes, we headed to their second location hoping for better weather…only to arrive in pouring rain.

At that point, we were officially running on vibes and a prayer. 😂

But right as we ’re beginning to think we would just have to accept that. It was going to be a super rainy day, the sun came out, the rain disappeared, and we ended the night with the most beautiful sunset.

A little rain, a little hail, a lot of improvising — and somehow it all worked out perfectly. 🤍
