🎶 A quick note about who I am as a DJ 🎶
I want to be upfront with people about my style, because not every DJ is the right fit for every wedding — and that’s okay. If you’re looking for a wild, rowdy, drunk-fest type of party, I’m probably not your guy.
My style is much more suited for family-friendly celebrations where everyone feels comfortable — from kids to grandparents. Dancing is absolutely encouraged (I love seeing a packed dance floor!) but I also believe a great reception leaves room for people to talk, laugh, catch up, and truly enjoy being together. Not every moment has to be high-energy and loud to be meaningful.
I play a wide range of music — country, pop, classic rock, and more — but I steer away from music that’s overly vulgar or explicit. I’m very proud of my Christian faith, and I simply don’t feel that some of today’s explicit music fits the atmosphere of a wedding. That said, I’m not playing only church music either — just music you won’t worry about grandma hearing or kids repeating later 😅
One of the first things I learned in college is that music is subjective. Everyone has different tastes, and you should absolutely have the wedding you want. There are plenty of DJs who specialize in all-out party receptions, and they do a great job at that.
But if you’re looking for a reception that’s inclusive for all ages, centered around great music, great people, and genuine memories, I’d love to be your DJ. My goal isn’t to create a viral TikTok moment — it’s to help create a night you’ll look back on with joy for the rest of your life.
🤍 If that sounds like your kind of wedding, I’d be honored to serve you.
Please consider sharing.
