Found in the wild! IYKYK lisianthus is beautiful but a pain to grow 🙃 I found these while at a photography session in Grand Isle and said “you’re coming home with me.” They’re potted and I’m praying they survive.

I’ve been MIA for a while busy with sessions for Still House by Amanda Turner but fall wedding season is here so keep watch for more of my work!

Dearest Gentle Readers,

A bride arrived with a last-minute request for romance worthy of the finest garden party of the season, and The Garden on Main was delighted to oblige.

Blush blooms, powder blues, and lush florals transformed this venue into a scene fit for the pages of Bridgerton.

One must admit—the results were simply exquisite.

There’s something incredibly emotional about coming back to the place that helped shape you — first as a student, then later as a teacher, and now through my business. 💐

Our final Bloom Bar installation at Denham Springs High School was so much more than flowers to me. These hallways hold years of memories, growth, friendships, lessons, and life-changing moments. I once walked them as a student, later stood in them as a teacher, and getting to return to celebrate the educators there now feels incredibly full circle.

Teachers give so much of themselves every single day — their time, patience, energy, encouragement, and heart — often without enough recognition in return. I know firsthand the weight they carry and the love they pour into their students. Creating this Bloom Bar was a small way to remind them that they are seen, valued, and appreciated. 🌷

I hope each arrangement they carry home reminds them that the work they do matters deeply.

And a huge thank you to The Clubhouse Balloons for creating the most beautiful custom banner and helping bring this vision to life so perfectly. 💛

This setup will stay close to my heart for a long time.
