✨Last night, our barn was filled with women hungry for God, healing, truth, and freedom.

As I shared part of my story and taught Beneath the Labels, we talked about how sometimes the labels we’ve carried for years can feel so familiar that they feel like our skin. We wear them for so long that we mistake them for our identity.

But trauma is not identity.
Pain is not identity.
What others have said about you is not identity.

One by one, women walked to the cross carrying labels they had worn for years. Labels spoken by others. Labels born from trauma, rejection, shame, betrayal, and heartbreak. They nailed them to the cross and surrendered them to God.

Then they walked to a second cross and chose a heart containing a truth about who God says they are. 💗

The room was filled with tears, hugs, prayer, and hope.

One of the most important things we talked about is that freedom isn’t just a moment—it’s a daily decision to renew our minds and agree with what God says about us instead of what our wounds have taught us.

As messages and testimonies began coming in afterward, I was reminded once again that God can take our deepest pain and use it to bring healing to someone else. 🌿

After years of dreaming about standing before women and sharing the hope of Christ, it is humbling and incredible to watch God bring those dreams to life. I truly feel like I am finally walking in what God has called me to do. ✨

A Heartfelt Thank You to Jacob with Boissy Media! 🎥✨

What an incredible night of worship at our SPRING WORSHIP UNDER THE STARS event!

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Jacob of Boissy Media for spending the evening with us and beautifully capturing so many meaningful moments through both video and photography. These memories allow us to look back and reflect on all that God did during such a special night.

With over 500 people in attendance, our largest turnout yet, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. While numbers aren’t everything, each number represents a person who came together to worship, fellowship, and hear about the love of Jesus Christ. Seeing our community unite in worship under the open sky was truly something special.

Jacob, thank you for your time, talent, and dedication in documenting this event for the second year in a row. We are grateful for the beautiful memories you’ve preserved and for helping us share this experience with others.

We are already looking forward to our FALL WORSHIP UNDER THE STARS event, tentatively scheduled for September 5th. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!

Thank you again to everyone who attended, volunteered, served, worshipped, and helped make this evening such a blessing. God is good! ❤️🙌

✨ A Fresh New Look for Whispering Oaks ✨

We are absolutely loving the new black-and-white exterior on our barn! 🤍🖤

The updated look brightens everything up, adds a touch of elegance, and still preserves the rustic charm that makes Whispering Oaks so special. It’s amazing how one simple update can completely refresh a space.

And we’re just getting started!

This summer will bring even more exciting improvements, including our new outdoor gathering area, front entrance gate, groom suite, and other enhancements designed to make the experience even more beautiful for our couples and their guests.

As a family-owned venue, we are continually reinvesting into Whispering Oaks because we believe your wedding day deserves a setting that feels welcoming, intentional, and unforgettable.

We already have several venue tours scheduled this week, but if you’re looking for a 2026 or 2027 wedding venue, we’d love to see if we can squeeze you in and show you around!

What a beautiful night! 🤍

As we reflect on our 2026 Spring Edition of Worship Under the Stars, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

Thank you to every musician, vocalist, volunteer, vendor, and every person who took time out of their busy lives to join us. A special thank you to our sound technician, John, for helping make the evening possible.

God truly blessed us with a gorgeous evening, and we are humbled to share that over 400 people came tonight to our Worship Under the Stars gathering, making it our largest worship night yet!

But more important than the numbers is what so many of you shared with us throughout the night. Countless people told us that as soon as they pulled into Whispering Oaks in DeMotte, Indiana, they felt the peace of God and the presence of God. This is not the first time we’ve heard those words, and to us, that is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.

Everything Jay and I do, we want to point back to the Lord. He blessed us with this property, this venue, and this calling. Our prayer is that everything we do here brings honor and glory to His name.

Thank you to each and every one of you who made this evening so special.

And stay tuned—we are planning a Fall Edition of Worship Under the Stars! Our tentative date is September 5, 2026. We are currently looking for sound equipment and a sound technician, as unfortunately ours is unavailable that weekend. We will keep everyone updated as plans come together.

We’re also excited to share that we plan to add another food vendor for the fall gathering to help accommodate the incredible turnout we experienced tonight and help ensure everyone has plenty of food options.

Again, thank you all so very much for your support, prayers, and attendance. We are beyond grateful.
