But we’re SO excited.

Over the last year, one of my favorite things has been working alongside Brian from BR Focus Films. We care about so many of the same things: helping couples feel comfortable, creating a calm experience, and capturing the moments that matter most.

So we’re making it official and now offering photo + film collections together! 🤍

Imagine waking up on your wedding day to this view.

Most wedding venues give you a wedding day.
This one gives you a wedding weekend.

I recently had the chance to tour The Bloomfield, a brand new venue in Yalaha, Florida, and what stood out to me wasn’t just the beautiful lake views, incredible sunsets, or the stunning indoor space that can host up to 250 guests.

It was the experience.

Instead of rushing through one of the biggest weekends of your life, couples can stay on property with the people they love most, share meals together, sip coffee overlooking the blueberry fields, watch the sunset over the lake, and actually be present.

As someone who believes the best wedding photos come from meaningful moments rather than packed schedules, I couldn’t stop thinking about how special that is.
If you’re newly engaged, The Bloomfield is definitely a venue worth keeping your eye on. 🤍

One thing couples don’t realize until they experience it firsthand:
Your wedding day feels completely different when your photographer and videographer genuinely work as a team. 🤍

Less competing for moments.
Less chaos and overlapping direction.
More space to breathe, be present, and actually enjoy the people around you.

Lately, I’ve been especially grateful for working alongside Brian and BR Focus Films who care just as much about the experience as they do the final images and films.

Because at the end of the day, the goal was never just beautiful content.
It’s helping create a wedding day that felt joyful, calm, and genuinely meaningful while you were living it.

One of my favorite parts was watching their little girl look at her mom all day long like she hung the moon. 🤍

This might be the most peaceful place at Disney for engagement photos…” ✨

Between the pine trees, waterfalls, glowing lanterns, timber walkways, and quiet lakeside views, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge honestly feels more like a national park tucked inside Disney World than a resort.

Getting to photograph Kaitlyn & Steven here felt like such an adventure in the best way. From exploring all around the property together to ending the night with lantern glow and an Epcot skyline… this session was pure magic. 🤍

Also, shoutout to our worship pastor Casey because now every time I walk through Epcot at night, all I can think is:
“Epcot is such a vibe at night.” 😂✨

Some engagement sessions are beautiful because of the location.
Some are beautiful because of the people.

This one somehow felt like both. ✨

Kaitlyn and Steven drove over an hour and a half to meet me at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Between the waterfalls, pine trees, rocky pathways, glowing lanterns, and little tucked-away corners of the resort, it honestly felt more like stepping into the mountains than being in Central Florida.

And can we talk about how magical Wilderness Lodge becomes at twilight?! The final few photos under the warm lantern glow may have officially convinced me I need to photograph about 500 more engagement sessions here.

Kaitlyn + Steven, thank you for trusting me with your very first time in front of my camera. I already cannot wait for your wedding day. ☕️🌲✨

March 2027 can’t come soon enough for these two 🤍

Hannah and Samuel first met through Navigators at a Florida college conference after a friend introduced them. Timing wasn’t quite right back then, but years later, in 2024, they reconnected… and everything changed.

Now they’re planning a spring wedding at Whitewood Ranch centered around the things that matter most to them: joy, meaningful time with their people, bright and colorful photos, and the hope they’ve found in Christ. It’s going to be beautiful. ✨

Also… I feel like reconnecting years later after the timing once wasn’t right deserves its own movie genre. So tell me — what’s your favorite “right person, wrong timing” movie? 👀🍿

They’re about the people who have prayed for you, cried with you, watched your story unfold, and somehow feel like they’re living the moment right alongside you.

Also… both the groom and his daughter are having a different emotional experience and I love it.

Thank you all so much for entering this Mother’s Day giveaway 🤍

Truly… thank you for sharing, tagging friends, inviting others in, and being vulnerable enough to say, “Yes, I want photos with my people in this season.” That means more than you know.

Also… yes 😂 my kids are fully in the background of this video bouncing, dancing, cheering, pretend punching, and generally being exactly who they are. And honestly? I left it in on purpose.
Because this is real life.

Your family does not have to be perfectly still, perfectly behaved, or perfectly polished to be worthy of being photographed beautifully. Some of my favorite moments happen right in the middle of the chaos, the giggles, the interruptions, and the “everybody shhhhhh!” moments 😅
