Deltaville Ballpark

Deltaville Ballpark Constructed in 1948, Deltaville Ballpark is the oldest all-wooden baseball stadium in Virginia and home to the Deltaville Deltas.

The park also hosts a 241 league, regional little league teams, tournaments, and community events.

Behind the scenes to make game day happen - Cliff notes version.
7:30am - ground crew shows up to inspect field and begin removing water and getting infield dried out.
9am - begin infield prep spiking and dragging, test scoreboard and press box systems.
10am - mound, batters box and plate work and prep, bull pen and dugout cleanup
11am - concession inventory, restock, shopping and cleaning of concession and bathrooms.
12pm - chalking the field, bags installed and painted. Teams taking BP, concession start cooking. Final walk through of facility, trash cans out and park cleanup. Gates open.
1pm - National Anthem.
