• Fruit Series •

This was such a fun project to do and I’m pretty pleased with the results! The translucency of the fruit creates a stained glass appearance which expresses the beauty of the natural patterns each has.

• Technique •

This was shot in the studio with a 4 light setup. The fruit was placed standing upright on a black matte surface while lit from behind by an ad400Pro with a snoot attached. In some cases the fruit required fishing line to stand. The three other lights were placed for the key, rim and background.

• Equipment •


f/3.5L USM Macro Lens.
2 Pro Lights.
2 -rt speed-lights.

The images were all shot at f/9, 1/200 sec, iOS 100.
