I have three core principles of djing.
One, I love to play. The joy of creating sound and vibe makes me happy. The freedom of mixing has always been a passion beyond expectations. I have grown to enjoy listening to me. I started djing in 1998. It took many years for me to really enjoy myself.
Two, I love the music. Having access to so much music gives me so much room to explore. Whatever I feel like playing I can. Just the thought of a track and boom I can look, search, seek, find, and play anything my heart desires. The true bliss of all access.
Three, I love the technology of djing. Learning on belt drive Gemini turntables laid the foundation for early challenges. With time, technology has come so far. With all-in-one machines and digital capabilities, so many doors have opened to help dig deeper into the art of djing. Finding my true sound has enabled me to continue and remain fresh thru every set produced.
That's why I am pleased to release my first minimal/deep tech mix. This 132.2 bpm promo set barrels through 30 tracks in just a little over an hour. Early reactions from listeners were asking why it was so short. The set leaves you wanting more. It doesn't leave you hanging, it doesn't let go till the very end.
I hope you enjoy this set as much as I had making it. I zoned in pretty quickly and we ride hard till the last beat.
"Pillars" named after the core principles I listed above.
Thanks for all your continued support!
