Need all the good thoughts for sweet Taffy as she goes in for rounds 2 & 3 of heartworm treatment today.

She is now listed as available for adoption on the Rescue Rebels by Cash 4 Canines Inc website! She’s a truly sweet and energetic young girl who loves snuggling on the sofa and chasing a ball.

Following this treatment, she will need to stay on restricted activity for about a month, but then should be heartworm free, and is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She’s ready to go to her fur-ever family.

PSA - chickens dumped at our farm will be immediately culled upon discovery.

In other news, we are under a 30 day quarantine since someone dumped a stray rooster with obvious respiratory symptoms on our farm. He was immediately dispatched but I am praying that my flock was not infected.

Here is our visitor/foster who will be available through Rescue Rebels by Cash 4 Canines Inc. we have just been calling her ”Pup Pup” so we don’t get too attached😆. She is a sweet thing but very active and needs a home that will allow for an active lifestyle and can continue to work on manners. There are ducks and chickens in the background of the first two photos. She does not care.

Good 90 day check for Ophelia, and check up for ”Clark” (Times Square FD). Both needed a bath after the trailer ride!

It was somewhat bittersweet. She is in foal to Don Quichot for a 2024 full sibling to Clark. This will be my last DQ baby because he passed away yesterday. Four of his sons and daughters call Flydog Farm their home right now. I love what he produced, and it’s a little sad to know that there will only be one more for me.

We have been very busy with foaling season and have three beautiful babies available!

Talina FD - “Tilly” KWPN - NA filly, born 3/31/23. Don Quichot x Zilina - Top quality jumper prospect. Zilina is a proven Grand Prix producer, and had a 1.45 career herself. Don Quichot is bred for the jumper ring and jumped to 1.35 before being trained to the Grand Prix level in dressage.

River City FD - “River” Studbook SBS c**t, born 5/1/23 - This is a MASSIVE boy sired by upcoming dressage stallion, Finnick TGS, out of our foundation mare, Galiba. He is expected to mature well over 17 hands, a lovely dark bay to black c**t who should bring his parents beautiful movement to the dressage or hunter/equitation ring.

Time Square FD - “Clark” KWPN-NA c**t, born 5/2/23. Clark is just beautiful with his four matching socks and large Star, and he has the sweetest personality to go with it. Sired by the multi talented Don Quichot (Grand Prix dressage after 1.35 jumper career) out of Overtime Goal, an old style TB mare who is linebred to In Reality (3 crosses). This one should excel as an event horse or hunter.

Fresh baked! We have BBS Ameraucanas, just hatched. $8 each. Local pickup only in Deland FL.

These are straight run (unsexed) and are primarily blue. The females will lay blue eggs. These are NOT Easter Eggers.

APA Heritage breed, from exhibition lines, bred to the standard of perfection. Parents are VERY nice type. NPIP AI/PT clean flock, inspected twice a year.

Lots of requests for chickens and chicks lately. A few reminders.

1. We are by appointment only.
2. We rarely have adult hens for sale
3. Currently my chicks are presold before they’re hatched.

We have hatching eggs with a very short wait and can put you on the waitlist for chicks, but wait times are about three days to a week for eggs and a month for chicks.
