Most competitors think prep is the hard part…

But honestly?

The phase that ruins most physiques happens AFTER the show.

Because nobody really teaches competitors:

how to reverse diet

how to increase calories strategically

how to recover metabolically

how to stay lean without staying on starvation calories

So what happens?

➡️ They stay too low calorie for too long
➡️ Hunger becomes uncontrollable
➡️ They remove all cardio overnight
➡️ They become terrified of increasing calories
➡️ “Offseason” turns into eating everything
➡️ Weight rebounds fast
➡️ They feel frustrated and out of control

And this is especially common in women over 35 because hormones, recovery, stress, and metabolism all become bigger factors post-show.

The good news?

Post-show rebound is NOT inevitable.

The real question is not just “what show should I do?”

The better question is:

Should you prep, build, or wait?

Because if you start prep too soon, you may end up dieting harder, adding more cardio, flattening your shape, and still not bringing the look judges want.
