Thank you to all who contributed to Give Local DeKalb. And especially the donations to the Welcome Cafe. We are honored by your donations. We will keep you updated on how much was raised in the coming weeks.

The next brunch is May 28, 2016- we are so excited to be able to include the fresh vegetables from the DCCG! The menu will be posted the week before. WE Pantry will also be open 10-12 pm UUFD 158 North 4th street.

What an incredible day today. We had 10 Fantastic volunteers from the NIU National Pan-Hellenic Council.
Great guests, UUFD church volunteers. Food of course was delicious.

Great brunch this past Sat- wonderful food-volunteers-WE Pantry. Thank you all for your service.

We served over 69 ppl & 31 families for the Essential Pantry.
A generous donation of $200 was delivered to me yesterday.

We will be hosting a Special Mothers Day Brunch on May 9th. This will be the only Brunch held in May.
Menu:
Mock Mimosas (non alcohol)
Quinoa Corn Chowder (Vegan)
Egg Bake with Cheese (Local)
Cheesecake French Toast Bake
Seared Chicken (antibiotic free)
Fresh Green Salad w/Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing
Fresh Fruit
Assorted Pastries
Coffee/Milk/Juice

Good morning,

This Sat, 1/24/15- we are hosting our Monthly WCCK brunch. 10 am- 12 pm. We will have different musicians playing throughout the next few brunches.
We hope to see you there, bring a friend or two. Many ingredients are from local bakers/farmers.

Wonderful brunch yesterday. A few new guests. Great food. Beautiful music. Amazing volunteers. We had sausage, potatoes, kale, Swiss Chard donated by several local farmers & community gardens. The Essential Pantry was very busy. Come visit, volunteer, donate. We welcome all.
