Adding a few floral touches to the fountain at The War Memorial was such a fun moment from earlier this year! It helped that it was an abnormally hot May day so wading in the water felt quite lovely 🤍

Be sure to swipe for the video of me with my dress hiked up as I try not to slip on the slimy bottom while I design the florals… AI could never 😂

More intimate dinner parties please ✨🥂🌾

It was a true joy and privilege to design flowers for this intimate celebratory dinner for Jenna Doore that she put on for her close family, friends, and supporters as they celebrated her dream come true to compete on the show Survivor!!!

Being in the wedding industry we are a part of the most obvious event to celebrate; marriage! But there are so many other events, milestones, dreams, and simply life itself that I think we should take the opportunity to celebrate. So put on the party, invite your favorite people, open an extra bottle, and light those candles! Because you and your dreams, accomplishments, and ventures are worth a special celebration ✨💃🏼

Jenna Jenna Doore | Destination Wedding Photographer was one of the first photographers I ever worked with back in 2019 when I moved my business from Colorado to Ohio, so this was a treat to be a part of her special dinner. She gave me so much artistic freedom in the floral designs which is both an honor to be trusted and just so much fun to not be confined to too many specifications. Rather to design in the emotions of joy, celebration, natural art, and letting the flowers speak for themselves.

Coming alongside the amazing design eye of Intentionally Tabled by Jeannene Lillie, set at the unique The Federal Inn | Bed & Breakfast, the perfect rentals from Mariana Henning | Detroit Verde, and artful food by Cork & Knife Provisions made for a stunning collaboration for this celebratory dinner!

POV: you’re walking down the aisle and this is waiting for you at the end. 🍂

One of my favorite ceremony designs from this fall editorial at Basil Place in NE Ohio.

I had a vision to fill the stairs with warm golden and pink hued flowers and let the arrangements spill and move naturally through the space. I was able to forage the autumn hued foliage right from the many tress on the venue property which made the installation even more natural and special.
It felt romantic and abundant without being too formal or structured.

And the day itself couldn’t have been better. Perfect fall weather, beautiful light, and a couple who were very clearly in love.

I love when the flowers feel like they belong to the place. Not just placed there, but really becoming part of the setting.

A beautiful ceremony installation is about so much more than flowers.

Behind every lush floral arch are hours of planning, calculation a floral recipe, sturdy mechanics, and teamwork. Here’s a quick time lapse of creating this deconstructed ceremony arch for Bailey & Mitchell at the beautiful Toledo Country Club!

And shout out to my husband for always being there to help set mechanics, lugging buckets, and clean up after my messes.

On Pinterest these ceremony florals from last fall keep showing up, but it’s a screenshot of an Instagram story… So I decided the professional photos of it needed to get a more permanent spot on the feed. And they are too gorgeous to not share again!

Jillian came to me with a color story and aesthetic for her wedding, and fully trusted me in the set up and design of these ceremony flowers. Let me tell you, trusting your florist is the best thing you can do. Because this end result had everyone gushing, and creating this filled my artistic heart and stretched my design eye.

Designing flowers in a unique setting is one of my favorite things. It stretches me to look differently at my designs and is an opportunity to bring flowers to spaces I’ve never been before.

Like this elopement style shoot on the dock at the Chicago Yacht Club.
had a vision for this day and I loved the opportunity to design flowers amidst the sailboats and city skyline.
We kept the palette mostly neutral with touches of sky blue for a bit of romance and elegance, without taking away from the view and setting.

If you’re drawn to an unconventional space, I’d be honored to design something intentional to complement it.

What do I mean when I say my floral style and designs are “garden-inspired”?

I believe that flowers look their best when they are allowed to move naturally, arranged in an unstructured way. Similar to how you would find them growing in a garden.

I have a deep admiration for nature and am inspired by gardens. Especially the gardens that are cultivated with every bloom and prune being intentional.

This is what I desire to reflect in my floral designs. Each flower is placed with purpose… to highlight what makes it beautiful.
Whether that is the curve of a stem creating movement and depth in an arrangement.
Or the subtle flecks of color within a petal to enhance other shades and tones.

Not forced.
Not overly composed.
But absolutely intentional, artistic, and natural.

I am guided by the seasons and inspired by the way beauty exists in so many ways around us.
