Yesterday was by far the most productive day yet at the farm. 💪
The spring rush is real, and having two spaces I’m growing in only doubled if not tripled the amount of flowers I’m growing. 🌸
Andddddd, I’m having a surgery tomorrow and will be down for the count for a little during recovery - meaning alllll the seeds that were started in Jan-Feb, were desperate to get into the soil. ❤️🩹
Gray and I tag teamed the property, he’d till & broadfork in the soil amendments ahead of me, then I’d follow behind and just dig, plant, repeat.
I almost can’t believe it myself, but we got in 220 plants yesterday! 😳 (Which is definitely a new record for me!)
Everything that had been planted got their first drink of fertilizer, and I’m already counting down the days I can get back out there to see how everything fared!
I am so proud of what we are accomplishing already, and it’s only up from here! 🌱🌻
Spring is here in the PNW and it’s everything a flower farmer could ask for.
PS. Biggest thank you to my sistah cousin for her old photography camera - it’s about to be real official up in here! I couldn’t be more grateful 💕🌸
