I was looking for information on The Caminos playing at the lodge for the annual Halloween Bash. It shows on there web page Oct. 27th their @ the lodge. Has anything change? Some posted information would be great. I and my wife were planning to attend. Take care all, Brian

The lodge community activities committee will hold its next meeting March 14th @ 6pm at the lodge. All interested members are welcome to attend. Major topic will be the Spring fund raiser scheduled for May 5th.

Painting will be continuing this week @ the lodge. The dining room yet needs another coat on several walls, but is looking really great. The big change people have talked about for years is really happening. When the dinning room is done we will move into the upper bar to work on the ceiling and some trim work. Scheduled painting this week is Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday night after 4:30. Please pardon the mess and some distractions. Thank you, Brian Nordschow

Painting is going on now at the lodge. It is a slow process with just a few people putting in the time. The lodge carpeting project is rather time sensitive. The lodge really needs several members to give some of their time 3-4 hrs x 5-6 people really makes for a lot of work getting down. Come by the lodge today after 9am. Come Monday night after 4:30 as well. it's going to look great!!!

Elks Lodge is moving ahead! Our carpeting of the lodge will be happening. Carpeting is being ordered today with a mid to late August install date. We have almost 60% of the money needed. All members and interested non members are encouraged to make a donation to our building fund. It's going to look GREAT.

Newsletter delay. I apoligize to members as the newsletter has not been completed and mailed at this point. I have been very busy with work and our family business. With some luck it should be in your mail box by Thursday or Friday this week. Brian

Hot Dog Bar to start this Thursday night. From 5-8 we will feature a hot dog bar set up much like our Taco night. Build your own dog for just a Buck $1. Plenty of toppings to choose from. We will be running the hot dog bar every Thursday in May and June.

The lodge will be working on starting a web page coming sometime in April. When it is up and running we will be able to post the lodge newsletter on line for more members to keep up with happenings. it will also allow for reminders and updates on events.
