Mother Nature apparently didn’t get the memo that Thursdays are for alley jams. 🌧️🎸

Due to weather, this month’s Alley Cat Sounds: Thursday Night Jams will be postponed until June. We’d rather keep the guitars dry, the amps un-fried, and the Alley Cats from evolving into Alley Trout.

We appreciate everyone who’s been ready to come dance, hang, and vibe with us in the alley. Trust us… the June lineup is going to be worth the wait. ✨

What a day, Decatur. ❤️

Thank you to every team, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, family, friend, and wildly creative human who came out for 3D26. Watching this community come together to build, race, laugh, cheer, and celebrate was something truly special.

From the first push off the ramp to the last confetti moment… y’all showed UP. We are so grateful to be able to create events like this with our city and for our community.

Today was a truly inspiring day for the Maverick team. Being chosen as the first-ever recipient of the “Love Where You Launch” grant was the experience.

Our team is dedicated to fostering a sense of community through innovative events that bring people together. This award recognizes our upcoming “Know Your Neighbor” campaign, which shines a spotlight on the local businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and citizens who make our city unique. By sharing their stories, we aim to celebrate the spirit of our community and inspire a deeper connection among its members.

Just in Case Ya'll Thought We Were Playin’ Around...

We want to send a massive shout-out to all our heavy hitting community partners for making this year’s derby more than just an event—it’s the talk of the town! Building alongside community driven partners is exactly what this derby was founded on.

Native to Decatur, two brothers banded together to make sure their hometown was taken care of. That, folks, is what community is all about!

We’re talking:
12 Feet of height.
16 Feet of wide-open launch space.
30+ Feet speed-building slope.
