We sure love sharing our passion for good food with our friends. We traveled down to Warren,TX this past weekend to cook for the Linder wedding and boy did we have a great time. The DDD Ranch was a great venue and the wedding was beautiful. We even managed to add an unbelievably good Cajun pasta to our arsenal thanks to our good buddies E-Rock and Greg. I couldn’t quit eating that stuff!!!
Kayla and I want to say a huge thank you to the Linder family for trusting us with your big day. From the venue to the weather, everything was great so the food had to be great too! This wedding was a bit different with it being friends getting married so we got to catch up with some of our Beaumont area friends. Can’t wait to do it again.

If you or anyone you know needs catering, we would love the opportunity to cook for you. 2025 was great to us and we look forward to 2026.

Blessed with another day doing what I love. We were in McKinney,Tx at one of my favorite events ever. El Dorado Chevrolet and The Guns and Hoses Foundation know how to host an event.
KP (Kevin Perry) has been promoting bbq for a long time. The dealership moves all the cars and we get to set up under the canopies. It’s a unique event for sure. They feed you and treat you like kings. The weather was all over the place but it was manageable.
As for the cookoff, 32-33 teams showed up to battle it out for a piece of the $9,400 purse. We were blessed with a 4th place chicken and 3rd place brisket. Ribs were a no show and that’s a head scratcher because I loved them. Oh well. We finished 4th overall.
I want to take a minute to say a huge thank you to Tim Esh (Tiny E BBQ) for all the help and guidance in chicken. Yard bird has always been my strongest category until this year. Things change and I have struggled mightily. But finally a break through after some recipe tweeking. I surely appreciate the help.
Congrats to all who got a call today and thanks to the crew in the judging area and all yall do for bbq.
As always, the bbq family is what it’s all about. Had a blast with everyone. See yall soon.

What a weekend of great bbq and music in the mountains. We traveled up to Red River, New Mexico to cook the 8750 Music and BBQ Festival. It had been 9 years since we last cooked this event. Cool mountain air, music and the smell of bbq throughout then beautiful park made for an epic day. This event is sanctioned by Lonestar BBQ Society and David and his team did a great job running the contest.
42 teams battled it out cooking at almost 9000 ft elevation and it’s crazy how stuff cooks so differently up that high in the mountains.
We were blessed enough to give away 2 tickets with a 10th place ribs and 7th place brisket. Not sure what happened with chicken because I cooked two halves and turned them both in.
Congrats to everyone who got their number and name called. We hung out with old friends and made new ones as well.
The night was capped off by seeing my favorite band of all time and I scored this sweet logo shield. Can’t wait to go back next year. I’m not sure I will ever miss this event again. Red River is just a special place. See yall out on trail soon.
