UT CULINARY PROGRAM ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT 🎓

Jamyzia Goins graduated from the UT Culinary Program in March of 2024.

Chef Greg hired her right after graduation to join the UT Conferences catering team. She also works for instructor Chef Brandon’s catering business, ‘Gonzo Gourmet,’ and instructor Chef Darien’s bakery, ‘Bake that Dough.’

She also volunteers for Amachi Knoxville with the Knoxville Leadership Foundation, which is a mentoring program for children who need guidance, friendship, and support. She is a mentor/big sister for young girls who are interested in the culinary industry and other similar interests.

“I love working with Chef Greg and the UT Conferences catering staff! I have built relationships with the catering staff and UT Culinary instructors, and I have gained many job opportunities.”

It's the final Saturday before school starts, so we're doing Back to School SINGO!!! We're going to have 2 rounds of SINGO, adults versus kids! If kids win rounds, they'll receive a CASH prize! Bring the whole family and let's get competitive!
