We are a family owned store for the last 50 years. We have no affiliation with Christian Dior nor d We know that deciding on your bridal gown is very important.

Dior has been a family owned business for 46 years. You might consider us old-fashion. Alterations are done in the store by experienced seamstresses that have fitted brides for over 40 years. We still hand press your gown after alterations, so every detail is perfected. Servicing you is very important to our continual success. Becoming a "Dior" bride has many advantages. We host veil and accessory

trunk shows several times a year. You can see hundreds of new styles and receive a complimentary discount. Your bridesmaids also get special pricing with your purchase. We will invite your Mother to a special event showcasing an entire collection of updated dresses especially for Mom's. Our pricing is regulated by our manufacturers. It is important to our long standing relationship with these suppliers to price within their guidelines. While we think our prices are very fair, if you find a difference anywhere please call us. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Happy brides make our job fun too.

✨ The very last bride on the very last day. ✨

Erin walked into Dior Bridal Salon around 2:30 PM today — “just looking,” she said. With only 90 minutes until we closed our doors forever, she quickly found several dresses she loved. Following our timeless advice — “try on the one you love most first” — Erin slipped into her first gown… and just like that, she found The One.

💍 First dress. First shop. Last bride.
In a full-circle moment, Erin became part of our 55-year legacy in the most beautiful way.

Today marks the final day of Dior Bridal Salon. For the last few hours, we will be selling our mannequins, mirrors, fixtures, and all of our remaining wedding gowns, all bridal attendee gowns, and all accessories that go along with the whole wedding!

It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to us. For over five decades, we’ve had the honor of dressing thousands of beautiful brides from Metro Detroit and beyond. We’ve shared in your laughter, your happy tears, and your unforgettable “yes” moments — and we are so grateful.

💐 As we officially close our doors today (open 10 AM – 2 PM), we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, support, and memories. It’s truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

One of our final brides holds a special place in our hearts — Lexi, daughter of our manager, Kimberly and granddaughter of the owner Barbara, walked down the aisle to marry her college sweetheart Christian in beautiful Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Her stunning gown by Mori Lee and the elegant bridesmaid dresses by Dessy made the day even more magical. A Heartfelt Goodbye from Dior Bridal Salon
To our beloved customers, friends, and community,
After more than five decades of helping brides find their dream gowns and a business icon in the Dearborn community, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Dior Bridal Salon. Since 1969, the Schlaff family has been honored to be a part of so many love stories, and we are endlessly grateful for your trust and support over the years. With Barbara’s announcement of her retirement, we had an offer for our beautiful building that David Schlaff built and designed exactly 21 years ago this week. We decided that the timing was perfect and thus Kimberly has decided to join her mother in retirement so that they can enjoy the things they love most in life - family, friends, golf, gardening and traveling.
To mark the closing of this incredible chapter, we will be holding a Storewide Sample Sale for customers! ALL ITEMS in the store will be available at DEEP discounted prices—this is a rare opportunity to find your dream dress or accessory at an incredible value especially now as tariffs are rocking the bridal world.
We invite you to visit us before our final days at the end of June to take advantage of this sale, reminisce, and say farewell.
If you have an outstanding order with us, we PROMISE that we will deliver your gown to you as soon as they come to us.
