Still in awe of the amazing women who stepped outside their comfort zones and learned a new craft this past weekend.

Our Learn to Quilt with Dee Bushrod retreat was a wonderful time of exploring quilting and creating beautiful treasures. Even more than that though, the part that I found so inspiring was watching women who arrived as complete strangers on Thursday spend the weekend cheering eachother on and encouraging one another. They turned the weekend into a place to learn, create, and even make mistakes safely - with grace and laughter.

They arrived as strangers, left as friends, and already chose a date on next year’s calendar for a reunion. I’m feeling so honored by the opportunity to coordinate these times and witness the whole thing. It’s an incredible blessing!
