Months of planning and discussing have led up to this moment.

Walking into a store and seeing Down Time apparel sitting on the shelf.

We’ve put in the hours.. Working full-time jobs, filming when we could, chasing a dream that sometimes feels far away.

But today, it became a little more real!

This isn’t just a brand. It’s a piece of who we are, and if you’re cut from the same cloth, we had you in mind in the process.

Come stay with us at Grandview Acres Lodge!

Located 25 miles south of Stuttgart, just outside DeWitt city limits, Grandview Acres guests are blessed with the best of county atmosphere, on 35 private acres, AND city convenience. We have 2 lodging options to choose from.

Grandview Acres Lodge is 5900 sq.ft. with wraparound porch where you can sit and watch the deer graze. The lodge will accommodate 4-8 guests with all the comforts of home. It has two, 2 bedroom suites. Each suite has a full bath shared between 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has one queen bed.

Our main lodge has a large gathering space with satellite tv and ample seating to watch a game or movie and a full gourmet kitchen. Enjoy the meal you prepare at our large dining table that seats 10. Wet bar area, pool and foosball tables complete this space with room to spare for the event you have in mind.

Grandview Acres Bunkhouse has 4 bedrooms, 3 shared full bathrooms, and large gathering area with tv and kitchenette. Each bunkhouse bedroom sleeps either 3-4 people. Two rooms have one twin and 1 bunk bed. Two other rooms have 2 bunk beds. The Bunkhouse will sleep 14 people comfortably.

Whether you choose the main lodge or the bunkhouse you will have access to our outdoor pavilion with fireplace, grills, boot room, cleaning station, large covered shed, kennels, and huge parking area.

Grandview Acres is available for receptions, family reunions, class reunions, retreats, and gatherings of all kinds.

Any other local guide services feeling this way the last few years? While social media is an awesome way to connect and bring in new hunters it will also quickly put a target on your back. When you’re successful in the hunting industry and post your success it starts. People coming for your leases, lease prices are driven higher, people coming for your guides, people coming for your connections and think they can do it better. We’re still here but we’re keeping it personal. We’re keeping our circle small, but you can guarentee we will still put you on the birds and shoot you strait. We look forward to seeing yall this Fall. If you’re not on the books already give us a call.

BUCK MOON, keep an eye out for this full moon Thursday evening! 🦌

July’s full moon, known as the “Buck Moon” will rise at 8:48 PM on Thursday evening.

It’s a distant moon, but still gorgeous.

Round the kiddos up after sunset and spot it in the sky, they will enjoy the time with you.

This is my favorite moon of the entire year, simply because of the name.

Longtime followers know I’m an avid deer hunter!

Whitetail bucks are currently growing their antlers, you will notice the velvet coating during the summer months.

Eventually they will shed the velvet in the next couple of months.
