"Where's that accent from?"

Studies suggest ducks quack differently depending on where they live. City ducks have a louder, faster, and more "shouting" style of quack compared to the softer, more relaxed quacks of their rural counterparts.

Just like humans, their environment shapes the way they communicate, and they need to be louder in the city to be heard over the city noise.
