This 1 of 1 3.3 Liter Twin Turbo Flat 6 Porsche Fabcar racer rekindles the eternal teenager in all of us. In a day and age when technology moves at the speed of light, this Twin-turbo Holy Terror turns back the hands of Father Time to 1993! Racers who make the mistake of writing off Dave Treichel’s 31-year-old Porsche Fabcar as “Old-school” learn the hard way that this Old-school unruly rebel is still at the head of the class!

How appropriate that this ‘93 Porsche Fabcar was the brainchild of Dr. Donald Brescia, a cardiologist, given that this beast was born so scary fast that it is heart-stopping.
Three decades ago, Dr. Brescia commissioned racing engineer Dave Klym and his newly formed Indianapolis company, Fabcar, to create a “track monster” that would dominate while simultaneously satisfying the safety standards of the Porsche Club of America. Dr. Brescia’s quest began with a legendary Porsche 930 Turbo which was like having Secretariat as a sire.
Fabcar transformed a 330 horsepower, 3,000-pound Porsche 930 into an 800-horsepower cruise missile stuffed into a
2300-pound pair of skinny jeans. It doesn’t take a degree in physics to know that harnessing all that power required a rear wing big enough to land a small Cessna just to keep it from going into orbit. Everything you need to know about this rocket on wheels can be summed up in five words....85 mph in first gear!

After 20 years of ownership, Dr. Brescia picked the perfect person to carry on its legacy. He sold the Porsche Fabcar to Dave Treichel, owner of Zero to 60 Garage, in 2013. Dave was the car’s mechanical maestro its entire life and sums up the sensation of being behind the wheel in two words,
“Blistering Acceleration!” Those two words of reverence manifested themselves the day Dave set the class lap record of 2:12,9 at Road America when his Porsche Fabcar was....23 years old. Top speed recorded at 185 mph.
