🇺🇸 SCIENCE BUILDS BRIDGES – THE MARTIANS IN DAYTONA BEACH | A TUDOMÁNY HIDAKAT ÉPÍT – MARSLAKÓK DAYTONA BEACHEN 🇭🇺

🇺🇸 At HungarianHub, we believe that some of the strongest bridges between Hungary and the United States are built through knowledge, education, innovation and people.

The story of the Hungarian “Martians” is perhaps one of the best examples.

Hungarian-born scientists came to America with extraordinary knowledge and ideas — and America gave many of them the opportunity to research, create, innovate and realize their scientific potential. The result became part of both Hungarian heritage and American scientific history.

That is why bringing The Martians Exhibition to Daytona Beach means so much to us.

After Budapest, Washington, D.C., and Minnesota, the exhibition is coming to Downtown Daytona Beach, where science, history, education and community will meet on the beautiful Riverfront Esplanade.

And for us, this is only the beginning.

The opening will also connect to our broader Science Year initiative, through which we want to bring together universities, students, researchers, innovators, businesses and communities through additional programs throughout the year.

🇭🇺 A HungarianHubban abban hiszünk, hogy Magyarország és az Egyesült Államok között a legerősebb hidak közül néhányat a tudás, az oktatás, az innováció és az emberek építenek.

A magyar „marslakók” története ennek talán az egyik legszebb példája.

Magyar tudósok érkeztek Amerikába rendkívüli tudással és gondolatokkal, Amerika pedig sokuk számára lehetőséget adott arra, hogy kutassanak, alkossanak, innováljanak és megvalósítsák tudományos elképzeléseiket. Eredményeik egyszerre váltak a magyar örökség és az amerikai tudománytörténet részévé.

Ezért különösen fontos számunkra, hogy a Marslakók kiállítás Daytona Beachre érkezik.

És számunkra ez még csak a kezdet.

A kiállítás megnyitója kapcsolódik majd a tervezett Science Year kezdeményezésünkhöz is, amelynek keretében egyetemeket, diákokat, kutatókat, innovátorokat, vállalkozásokat és közösségeket szeretnénk további programokon keresztül összekapcsolni.

Florida Ranked No. 1 for Higher Education for 10th Straight Year
No. 1 State University System of Florida

Florida has been ranked the No. 1 state in the nation for higher education for 10 consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report. To commemorate this milestone, the State University System of Florida is partnering with public universities statewide to award scholarships to eligible students who share why they chose their institution to pursue their higher education goals.

Each participating Florida public university will award 10 scholarships of up to $1,000 to eligible undergraduate students through the Florida 10 for 10 Scholarship Initiative. Awards will be applied toward Spring 2027 financial aid.

Who remembers this piece?

If you were at the Hungarian Summit 2025 — and especially if you picked up a brush and added a few strokes — you probably do.

Artist robandersonart brought this special work to the Summit, and together, we became part of its story by painting it collectively.

And now, on the occasion of America’s 250th anniversary, Rob has included this very piece in his exhibition.

How incredible is that?

From the Hungarian Summit to America 250 — a shared artwork, a shared memory, and now a small part of a much bigger celebration.
