Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.

On this Memorial Day, we honor their sacrifice, reflect on their courage, and say thank you.

Our building will be closed in observance of this day, but will we reopen tomorrow, 5/27.

On Golden Pond is the inspiring story of Ethel and Norman Thayer returning to their summer cottage in Maine during their twilight years. The play’s storyline features the triumph of love over discord. When their estranged daughter Chelsea brings her fiancé and his teenaged son Billy Ray Jr. to visit, a chance for redemption emerges between Chelsea and her parents. When the boy is left with the older couple, Norman finds new purpose in the simple task of teaching young Billy Ray to fish. It turns out to be just what they both needed. Will this be the Thayers’ last summer On Golden Pond? The 1979 Broadway production captured a Tony for Best Actress and the Drama Desk Award for Best New Play. The 2005 Broadway revival earned the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. The 1981 film starring Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won three.
