I can’t stop thinking about the Richard Simmons-themed music bingo night I hosted after his passing two years ago, complete with a lookalike contest, a Sweatin’ To the Oldies dance party, and an applause-o-meter made by my buddy John.

Would anyone be interested in a Richard Simmons bar crawl this year instead? With another dance party and costume contest at the last stop?

THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the fundraiser tonight - donors, businesses, patrons, helpers - I love you all so much! We raised $1,078 tonight for Rainbow Elder Care of Greater Dayton, PLUS there was an additional anonymous donation of $500! We may not have broken a record, but we raised lots of money for a good cause and that’s what I care about the most!

My heart is full and I finally got to eat something so my belly is full too. Seriously, thank you for hanging out and participating, and keep an eye out for July’s theme night!

Have a gay day and a safe and wonderful Pride weekend to my fellow Daytonians!

I’ve had a busy May gathering prizes for our annual Pride music bingo fundraiser and things are starting to come together!

My pal Graeme at .thread.xenia dropped off the beautiful handmade “Gayton” rug - which is our grand prize - valued at $300! My jaw hit the floor when I saw it! Please give Common Thread a follow. He’s doing amazing things and making beautiful art, and can teach you how!

Tickets for the rug are $5 each and there’s no limit as to how many you can purchase. The more, the better! Venmo and Cashapp links are in the post.

I can’t believe it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day either, but there we are…St. Paddy’s music bingo is happening on Thursday, March 12th, 8-10 pm!

I promise you’ll know most of the songs, and if you don’t, maybe you’ll find a new favorite. Don’t forget to wear something green!
