This past weekend, the halls of The Scotsman were filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and the kind of moments that remind us exactly why we poured our hearts into restoring this beautiful old church.

Watching another couple begin their forever within these walls never gets old. From quiet moments in the suites, to the walk down the aisle beneath the stained glass, to the intimate gathering shared with their closest family and friends — every part of the day felt so special.

There is something incredibly meaningful about seeing a 150-year-old building come alive again with celebration, family, and love stories that will be remembered for generations.

To our sweet couple — thank you for trusting us with such an important day. It was an honor to be part of your beginning.

There is something so sacred about celebrating the beginning of a family.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the most beautiful mom and dad-to-be at The Scotsman — and what a day it was. 🤍

A mommy’s cravings bar filled with all the sweet and savory favorites she’s loved (and is currently loving)… laughter echoing through the hall… and on the other side of the room, ci**rs and whiskey poured to honor the dad-to-be stepping into his new role.

Because here, we believe both parents deserve to be celebrated.

The Scotsman has held generations of memories — and watching a new one begin within these walls will never get old.

Baby showers, weddings, celebrations of life… this building was made for moments that matter.

And this one? It was beautiful.

Hard to believe this is the same room — The Daisley.

She has come a long way.

We opened up two separate rooms, removed the hallway, and invited in so much natural light. What once felt closed off now feels airy, intentional, and full of life.

Original hardwood floors.
Original shiplap walls.
Restored character in every detail.

We replaced some windows to brighten the space — and lovingly re-utilized the original windows in the doors and bathrooms so her history still lives on.

Taking her back to her original glory has been one of the sweetest parts of this restoration. 🤍
