I spent my day yesterday celebrating Easter brunch with my family and filling my cup and my heart. 🤍 The older I get, I truly cherish this time that we all get to gather and catch up over good food and fun conversations. As I sit here and reflect on the day, I recognize that my blessings truly are made within my home gathered around my dining room table whether it’s Easter or 5pm on a Thursday evening. 🛑 here’s your sign to book the photoshoot with your senior dog 🥹🫶🏼

Two weeks ago I woke up to our 13 year old (almost 14 in January 🎂) golden retriever entirely unable to walk without assistance. After checking him out at the vet, we learned that his muscles have deteriorated with age in his hips which is causing intense pain. She recommended that we just keep him comfortable for the time being. In complete denial, I took him home and returned back to our daily routines because I can’t wrap my mind around the day I wake up and he’s not sleeping at the end of my bed. I love him so much. He has been with me through what feels like EVERYTHING and it just wrecks my heart knowing one day soon I won’t have to chase him around the block for the hundredth time he decides to run away.

Brantley, my boy, you will forever be my favorite dog to ever grace my life. I love you with my whole heart. 🤎
