Our curb appeal only gets better with the addition of YOU! 🥰❤️😍

So many lovely couples have their photos taken right outside our doors and we love to see them in wedding galleries. The black marble Art Deco facade was brought here via steamship from Italy in the mid 1920’s just for us.

Planning a retirement party, rehearsal dinner, or employee luncheon?

The Grande Hall has a bonus event space on the twentieth floor of Liberty Tower called, “Twenty Grande.” This beautifully appointed space with Art Deco influences provides the perfect setting for smaller events.

For an additional fee, it can also be added on to your Grande Hall rental to be used as an extra getting ready suite or location for photos (always a great rain plan).

Be sure to ask for a tour when you are scheduling your main tour of The Grande Hall.

to the movie that started it all..."The Old Man and The Gun" staring Robert Redford, Danny Glover, Sissy Spacek, Tom Waits, Casey Affleck and Tika Sumpter.

It was based on the real life story of Forrest Tucker an American career criminal first imprisoned at age 15 who spent the rest of his life in and out of jail. He is best known as an escape artist, having escaped from prison "18 times successfully and 12 times unsuccessfully," by his own reckoning.

It's fun to watch the movie and see The Grande Hall and Dayton on the big screen!

The Grande Hall at Liberty Tower

The Grande Hall at Liberty Tower is a remarkable hidden gem that will soon become one of Dayton’s favorite wedding and special event venues. While renovations are to be completed by March 2019, we are not booking events until late April 2019 to ensure there is plenty of time to perfect the space.

From the 30 foot plaster ceilings to the Italian marble walls, The Grande Hall at Liberty Tower is a shining example of classic Art Deco architecture that has been painstakingly preserved.

The Grande Hall at Liberty Tower can accommodate seated events for up to 300 guests and will beautifully blend historic details with modern conveniences. Whether they’re enjoying cocktails on the mezzanine level or touring the original bank vault, guests will delight in all the amenities and historic features.

Built in 1931 by the noted Dayton architectural firm of Schenck & Williams the building is steeped in Dayton history. As Dayton’s only Art Deco ‘setback’ style skyscraper, Liberty Tower was once Dayton’s tallest building and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
