This Memorial Day, we proudly remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸
The history of Liberty Tower has long been connected to supporting our troops. During World War II, the building was home to the Army Signal Corps, with offices located in the lobby and an observation deck stationed on the roof. As the tallest building in Dayton at the time, Liberty Tower provided the perfect vantage point to keep watch for air raids.
Two watchmen stood guard on the roof 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, under the building’s wartime code name: “Dog Easy 77” — now the inspiration behind our signature cocktail served at events today.
As we gather with loved ones this Memorial Day, we reflect on the legacy, courage, and sacrifice woven into both our nation’s history and the walls of this iconic building.
Thank you to all those who serve this great nation. ❤️🤍💙
