In the spring of 2022, Diamond Daiquiris made its debut — a one-of-a-kind mobile establishment serving authentic Louisiana-style daiquiris and sno-balls that quickly captured hearts (and taste buds) across the Midwest.
Behind this flavorful venture is Leslie N. Brown, a proud Louisiana native, U.S. Navy veteran, and passionate entrepreneur whose mission is to bring “A Taste of the South in Every Sip” to her adopted home of Dayton, Ohio.
Growing up in the bayous of Louisiana and later in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Leslie developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant flavors, festive culture, and sense of community found in Southern life. Even as she traveled the world during her 11 years of Navy service, the taste of home — a perfectly blended daiquiri or a cool, refreshing sno-ball — never left her heart.
After settling in Dayton, Leslie realized that these beloved Southern traditions were missing from her new community. Fueled by nostalgia, purpose, and a dream to share her heritage, she launched Diamond Daiquiris — a mobile oasis of flavor, hospitality, and joy.
But Diamond Daiquiris is more than just a food truck. It’s a celebration of culture, resilience, and connection. Every sip tells a story — of Southern roots, community spirit, and the power of turning a vision into a legacy.
Today, Diamond Daiquiris proudly stands as Dayton’s first Louisiana-style daiquiri and sno-ball truck, veteran- and woman-owned, spreading smiles across festivals, neighborhoods, and private events. Each drink is crafted with care, passion, and authenticity — bringing a little piece of the South to every occasion.
