I have a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA. Part of this training included coursework in Pastoral Care. 9 years ago on this day I married the love of my life. I thought it would be fun to celebrate with y'all by showing a snippet.

This is my bridal processional, and it starts with me singing behind a closed door while my flower girls make their way down the aisle. The guests had no idea what was going on and my mind went blank before I started singing lol.

I had been on voice rest much of the days and weeks leading up to my wedding so I was even grateful that I could sing! This will always be one of my favorite moments.

Thank you Chertann Jones Ciara Harper Lorraine Punkin Butler and Nathan Huffman and J.J. Chappell for being the best musical team I could have asked for!!!

Thank you boo for the best husband and loving me the way you do. I love you so much

This is the opening speech I gave at the Chapel Opening. I gave this speech after marching in to the Never Would've Made it remix.

It's true. I would not be here today with the love of my Grandma, God and the support of my community.

I am beyond grateful to shout it from the rooftops that WE made it! That I made it!

So when you see me out here working it's because the journey has taught me that it's worth it.
