Hello! 💖🌸🎀

As I update my website, I figured it was the perfect time for a new introduction!

I'm Kayla Malott, a certified wedding planner and coordinator dedicated to providing exceptional service to my clients. As I continue to grow my business, I'm excited to offer additional services and collaborate with other talented professionals in the industry.

Personally, I'm 22, married, and enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Attica and Jetta, and our bunny, Rocco. We're also passionate about cars, with a special interest in Volkswagens! In addition to my work in the wedding industry, I've recently graduated from college with a diploma in medical assisting and will be starting a new role as a medical assistant soon!

As 2024 comes to an end, I'd like to reflect on this year:

- In January, I began schooling for my certification of wedding planning, and graduated 3 months later.
- In March, I created my business, which I thought would go nowhere and almost gave up.
- In April-July, I started gaining confidence and began posting in wedding groups, which got attention and I booked my first solo wedding! I had also went back to college for my CNA (my first time being back in in-person classes since I was a junior in high school).
- In August, I finally had my wedding which I planned for a year and a half and set-up the night before (very hectic, but worth it). I had also started going to school to get my diploma in medical assistant
- In September, I had my first wedding as a coordinator and a week later, had another wedding.
- In October, I started traveling way outside of my local weddings and had a wedding in Green Bay, right across from Lambeau field!
- In November, my husband bought us our first home to create more memories and grow roots. I also have booked 4 more weddings for 2025!
- In December, I booked more weddings and even one in 2026! We added onto our family and got a cane-corso/pit mix puppy, who is 15 weeks of full energy and sweetness (dear current and future clients, you will hear a TON about our fur-baby girls)!

2024 was a very rocky year for me, but my small business that I have put my heart into is growing! To all of my clients, thank you for blessing KM Events with an amazing year!
Here's to 2025 - I pray my business continues to grow. Have a fun and save NYE, and to my 2025 brides, we are so close to you all getting married this year!

Hi everyone!

With all of my new followers and clients that are interested in my services, I thought it was the perfect time to add a new introduction!

My name is Kayla Malott, I am from the Rockford, IL area and just recently moved NW of Rockford, on the boarder of WI and IL. My husband and I just bought our first home out here with our precious dog, Attica, who if you book me, will hear lots about my sweet + sassy girl. I treat her like my own child!

I have my certificate in wedding + event planning, and had my first few solo weddings this year! I have booked a total of 14 weddings in my first year, and can't wait to book more!

I am also a medical assistant student, to graduate in May. So event planning and wedding coordinating really is my side gig, but I couldn't love it anymore than I do!

I come with a large list of recommended vendors, as well as venues. I have always been intrigued with the planning aspect, as I planned my entire wedding in August 2024, which was SO beautiful.

By booking me as your day-of coordinator or wedding planner (or BOTH), I can promise you that you will cherish how beautiful your wedding will be.

Exciting news!

My husband and I purchased our first home, which means I can finally set up an office for my business! If you're local to me, I will now be offering in-person consults 🙂 I will still offer the zoom call consults as well as public meet-ups!

Also - thank you to all who have recently started following me 🤍 and thank you to every single person who has referred me to someone else! This little dream of mine is really taking off 🥰
