It was a beautiful morning for painting today! Thank you to everyone who participated. The trees are just starting to turn, and we plan to do a few pop-up sessions this month as the fall foliage progresses. Keep and eye out! 👀🍁🍂🌰🖌️

🎨🌿 Ever wanted to try Plein Air?

En plein air means creating art outdoors “in the open air” while experiencing the landscape around you.

Popularized by the Impressionists, it’s more than what you see... You’re hearing the birds, feeling the breeze, touching the grass, watching the light change and letting that whole experience find its way into your art.

Plein Air in the Parks is welcoming for EVERY skill level. There’s no guided project or expectation of what your art should look like. Bring whatever supplies you love, choose what inspires you, and create at your own pace. We choose a different local park each month!

Most importantly, come as you are. Paint alongside other local creatives, ask questions, share ideas and techniques, encourage each other, or simply enjoy making art in good company. Whether it’s your first time painting outdoors or your hundredth, there’s a place for you here.

Bring your supplies. Find your view. Create your way and create together!

Only a few regular sessions remain this season.
