MVBS.org presents The Other Brothers on June 28, 2026, from 3:30-6:30pm at The GypsyHighway.

Hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, The Other Brothers are a powerhouse trio delivering a raw blend of blues, rockabilly, and classic rock & roll. Fronted by guitarist, harmonica player, and vocalist Eli Clark, alongside bassist Johnny Parrish and drummer Jason Kadiwhompus, the band channels the spirit of vintage ’70s rock with a gritty, no-frills approach rooted in the blues.

Fresh off a standout run as semifinalists in the 2026 International Blues Challenge, The Other Brothers continue to build momentum across the Midwest and beyond. With their sixth album currently in the works, the trio’s high-energy performances, driving rhythms, and old-school swagger prove that authentic blues-driven rock & roll is alive and well in the heartland.

Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members and are available at the door. See you for some great food and drinks, and live blues at The Gypsy Highway!

The Ryan Graham Memorial Fund has given a significant donation to the The Mississippi Valley Blues Society. Ryan was a skilled, natural musician in rock and blues guitar, often learning and then incorporating diverse music resources into his music. The funds are used for Quad City area guitar lessons to serious, committed students, ages 12-19, in need of financial assistance to further their skills.

The Blues Society is grateful for the donation memorializing Ryan: his life continues through the Fund.

More about Ryan:
Ryan Graham began playing guitar at age 12. In his late teens, he began teaching others how to play and continued to share his gift into adulthood. He struggled with anxiety, and music was his therapy. He passed away at age 33 from heart disease. Ryan's family hopes his memory will live on through the gift of music.

If you wish to donate to the Ryan Graham Memorial Fund, ensuring lessons for students needing financial assistance, here are 2 options:

1. Mail a check payable to the Mississippi Valley Blues Society, write 'Ryan' in the check memo, and send to: MVBS, 102 S. Harrison St., Suite 203, Davenport IA 52801

2. Go to mvbs.org/donate and follow the instructions. When finished, please send an email to [email protected] (MVBS Board) with the amount donated, so that we can allocate donations to lessons.

Donations to MVBS are deductible under IRC Section 170.
