This morning a squadron of pelicans (I did have to look that up and I’m glad I did) circled the property a few times then flew west, joined another “squad”, came back to fly directly over the tower then turned north. We’ve noticed a lot of migrating birds use this spot as a landmark and fly directly overhead. Do you think they are using the mound or the mansion? 🤔

We had an exciting week of meeting with upcoming wedding couples ::BONUS:: we also got to meet some of their fun family members. The good energy continued with booking a couple of weddings for 2027 with some really great couples, now we’re all ready for our 202nd wedding this weekend! ❤️ 🥂 So grateful & excited for all of our upcoming weddings!

🌳 🌳 The world is getting green fast! We miss the river view in the summer, but also love the private wooded backdrop. It’s the best of both worlds! 🌳 🌳

When we had a couple days this week with nothing on the schedule, we wanted to go get margaritas on the river at dluaontheriver…. Instead the kitchen got a makeover. Maybe next week!
