One of the best investments we make in our business isn't just money—it's learning.

This week, I had the opportunity to tour the absolutely stunning Bluestone Estate with owners Erin and Chad as part of our Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacation. Several times each year, a group of venue owners comes together to visit venues, share ideas, learn from one another, and work on strategies to better serve our couples, all put together by Didi Russell aka Didi Wedding Nerd.

Bluestone Estate was truly breathtaking. The grounds are gorgeous, and the attention to detail throughout the property is second to none. Every space has been thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests.

As venue owners, it's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day operations, but taking the time to learn from others in our industry is invaluable. Every tour leaves me inspired with new ideas and a renewed commitment to making Rustic Grace Barn even better for our couples.

✨ Rustic Grace Barn's Annual Mom Prom benefiting The Women's Resource Center of Florida, Inc. What an incredible night✨

Two years ago, we created a fun, uplifting night for women in our community while also giving back to a meaningful local organization. Last year, we partnered with the Women’s Resource Center, and it has been such a blessing to continue supporting the incredible work they do for families across Polk County. 💖

This event truly took a village, and we are so thankful for every guest, sponsor, donor, volunteer, vendor, and business that helped make this year’s Mom Prom so special.

From the donated DJ services from Shawn’s DJ Entertainment , photography by Golden Grace Photography LLC, cookies by Gourmet Goodies Bakery, appetizers by The Catering Co of Central Florida, raffle items, silent auction gift from International Diamond of Lakeland, bartenders, and sponsorships… to the countless hours of setup, decorating, planning, laundry, cleanup, promoting, coordinating, prepping swag bags, and creating every little detail — it was all done with love to create an unforgettable evening for our community. ✨

Seeing women laugh, dance, celebrate, stand in line for the photobooth, and simply enjoy a night out together is exactly why we created Mom Prom in the first place. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped support both this event and the mission of the Women’s Resource Center.
