Sunday morning thoughts.. ๐ญ
We spend so much of our lives trying to fit in.
We cover things up.
We blend in.
We hold back the weird thoughts.
We hide the quirks.
We say what's expected.
We act "appropriately."
And after doing it long enough, we start dimming the very things that make us who we are.
The truth is, those little quirks, passions, interests, and oddities that nobody else fully understands are often the most beautiful parts of us.
When someone truly loves that version of youโthe unfiltered versionโthe one without the mask... and they help it grow instead of shrink... that's when you realize what real love looks like.
Not being tolerated.
Not being managed.
Not being molded.
Being seen.
The biggest thief of time isn't getting older.
It's spending years pretending to be someone you're not.
It's overworking.
Overcommitting.
Living by everyone else's expectations.
Filling every empty space until there's nothing left for yourself.
And one day you wake up exhausted, disconnected, and wondering where all the years went.
Life was never meant to be survived.
It was meant to be lived.
So be weird.
Be passionate.
Be unapologetically yourself.
And if somebody doesn't like it?
F*ck it.
Surround yourself with the people who know the real you, respect the real you, and love the real you.
Because that's where life actually begins.
