🚨 Domain Scam Alert: Don’t Fall for the “National Domain Authority” Letter

Hey friends — quick heads-up for anyone who owns a website or domain name.

I recently received a very official-looking letter from an organization calling itself the **National Domain Authority**, claiming I needed to pay $260 to “renew” my domain *flowersandflowers.com*. It included a deadline and made it sound urgent — but it’s a scam.

🔍 After checking with my actual registrar (GoDaddy), I confirmed:
- My domain is secure and active until 2027
- The letter is not affiliated with GoDaddy or any legitimate domain authority
- The sender is using scare tactics to trick people into paying for something they don’t need

💡 If you get a similar letter:
- Don’t pay it
- Check your domain status through your registrar (GoDaddy, Squarespace, etc.)
- Enable auto-renew if you haven’t already
- Spread the word— these scams target small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs who might not know better

- Weird link: `[email protected]` 🚫
- Over-the-top threats and urgency 🚨
- No confirmation via official channels 🏛️

📌 Real advice:
✅ Go direct: [portal.ct.gov/DMV](https://portal.ct.gov/DMV)
✅ Report scams, not your driving status
✅ Spread awareness like wildflowers

Thanksgiving 🦃 Floral Class Goodbye! I wanted to take a moment to say how sad 😢 I was that I couldn’t be a part of our beautiful tradition we started with my Thanksgiving Floral Class some years back. Unfortunately, the new management felt I didn’t serve his needs or the member's needs to the high standards that he and his members demanded. My services were no longer required. I didn’t fit the Darien Brand. That’s only one man’s opinion. Again, thank you for. It was beautiful to watch how my class grew from 30 extraordinary, talented ladies to our last year, where we had 120 of Darien’s finest. It was a privilege, and I felt honored to have so many of you and your support of a small local business guy like myself! 😌🥰 I’m so proud to be a part of this extraordinary community that embraced my talents and personality with warm and welcoming arms. So, I find myself being so grateful for every one of you this Thanksgiving. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. On a side note, there has been a tremendous transformation here at F & F!! I just turned a certain age that some self-reflection was warranted, and through that, I tapped into a while new creative side of me I didn't realize was within. So come by, check us out, and say hi again for the first time. I'll say it one more time: thank you to this beautiful town and, most importantly, the outstanding people for your support, kindness, and friendships over all these years.
