Alabama just completed Greco for Junior National Duals. This is the toughest duals in the country for the Olympic styles and heavily recruited by collegiate coaches. Team Alabama had one of their best showings ever in Greco making the Bronze pool and finishing 16th in the country.

Jonathan from Gulf Coast ended the Greco session 4-1 with his only loss to Wisconsin kid who placed at US Open and Fargo.

That’s a wrap on our first ever beginner camp!! Couldn’t ask for much more in 3 days! In hindsight we will be capping the numbers next time but the demand for wrestling in the south is here!!! People know the life skills that wrestling will give their kids these days and that is the most important aspect of it all. We build strong, confident, resilient kids and then the wrestling comes with. So awesome that we had so many coaches to pour into these young boys and girls.

Beginner camp day 2!! Over 40 new wrestlers signed up for our camp. None of them were previously club members. Growing the sport 1 wrestler at a time. I know one thing for sure and it’s that wrestling will change at least 1 of their lives for the better! 1 more day for these young athletes before they start training for the next level!
