Every year the club gets better at Freestyle and Greco! Just 3 years ago we did not do any freestyle and Greco and this year we had 16 athletes compete at state, multiple champs and Fargo qualifiers, tons of placers, and some new national duals team members! Lots more room to grow! Also special recognition to Cole Orcutt and Landen Reffner. Alabama is not taking a cadet national team this year but if they were, those two would have the starting spots!

It is very easy to “take a few weeks off” or “feel burned out”. Those are things true champions do not let influence their actions. Do not let a day go by that you miss a training session. The top wrestlers started training the day after state for the next national tournament. If you haven’t started yet, you’ve fallen behind. If you wait until August or October, erase your name from the podium. Winning is lonely. Winning can be selfish. Winning doesn’t care about “feelings”
