Fleur We sell local cut flowers from central Kentucky. Established in 2015. Once upon a time, she taught French to high schoolers. They called her Madame. She waited.

Madame aimait les fleurs. She had an old pasture, bereft of horses. Year after year, the grass in the meadow grew tall, was cut short, grew tall again. Madame watched. The grass grew. One year, a thought crept into her mind. It grew. Slower than the grass, but it grew. Tout le monde aime les fleurs. Maybe I’ll plant them in the pasture. No horses complained—they had left long ago. d on with interest. A neighbor cow peaked through the fence. Madame’s dog peaked back at the cow and barked. Madame planted flowers. They grew. Madame aimait ses fleurs. Her husband asked her. Her friends asked her. Her children asked her. Pourquoi cultive tu ces fleurs? She answered simply. Les fleurs sont belles.
