The Norton Center for the Arts is home to Centre College’s annual Norton Center performing arts season of professional touring presentations. It is also the primary venue on campus for music and theatrical productions, lectures and other convocations and live student entertainment. The Norton Center has two venues: the 1,470-seat Newlin Hall, known for its acoustics, and the warm and intimate 367-

seat Weisiger Theatre. The Norton Center also boasts a large art collection with many of the works on display in the Grand Foyer and throughout campus.

𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗘's work explores socially constructed systems, making visible the connections between social institutions and personhood. An interdisciplinary artist, Burdine joined the Centre College Art faculty in 2021 as Assistant Professor of Art in Photography and Digital Media.

In her series 𝑀𝑜𝑟𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝐷𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠, Burdine turned to abstraction to help process the death of her two parents. Using her parents' leftover prescription medications as artistic tools, Burdine's chemigrams tell the story of living with grief.

🆓 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 is FREE and open to the public Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exhibition features personally selected works by four Centre College art professors, demonstrating their creativity, technique and inspiration.
