Harding’s 4th Birthday! He requested a tractor theme 🚜 It was a beautiful, hot July day and family came from all over to celebrate our sweet boy. The tractor piñata was a huge hit, and the cake and cookies were perfection as always! I had hay all over the house and outside for days but it was well worth it to see the smile on his face.

Happy Second Birthday to our Golden Girl, Hathaway!! This “Golden Girls” themed party was a personal favorite with lots of sweet touches. I did loads of palm fronds and flamingos with LOTS of pink for a girly Miami vibe. We had Golden Girl-themed snacks, and a big beautiful pink cake inspired by her invitations. I opted for live palms that I can hopefully keep alive for sustainable decor. The best part was seeing all the people we love in one place for the afternoon to celebrate the sweetest of girls!!

We celebrated sweet Lachlan’s 6th Birthday back in October, and I realized I never got around to sharing here. If you know me, you know how much I love a niche theme. The birthday boy wanted a D.B. Cooper Adventure-themed party. I made his invitation which set the scene for the rest of the party- dollar bills, rocks, trees (They think D.B. jumped out of the plane somewhere in the Pacific Northwest- fascinating story, you should definitely Google it if you haven’t heard!) We had his favorite foods like mozzarella sticks and cookie cake. It was such a fun party, and he truly loved everything! I love my adventuring guy!! 🏔️ ✈️ 💰

Happy Third Birthday to my sweet Harding Banks!! This tractor/ yard equipment-loving guy chose his own party theme, and we did simple but intentional decorations. I opted for live grasses for the table, which we will plant in the yard. I also chose rocks and “faux” grass that will be re-purposed into sensory bins. We enjoyed a delicious cake by .sweetdreams and adorable cookies by !! Invitations were designed by Me. It was a sweet party for our sweet boy. Celebrating Harding is so easy! 💙 🚜 🎂

Surprise 60th Wedding Anniversary Party for my sweet Grandparents 💍 🎉 This was my first ever surprise party, and it was so much fun to do! I had a lot of help from family members pulling this together, and friends and family came from near and far. It was so special seeing the looks on my Grandparents’ faces when they walked into One Starling. We had pictures of them throughout the years, beautiful flowers from , delicious sweet treats by Pat Woodson, and amazing food from various vendors. What a special day for our family!!

It’s been a long winter, but Springtime is finally here! 🌸🐝 I was so thrilled to put up fresh faux boxwood wreaths and new happy ribbons! These will carry us through the season, and can be reused again next year. A sustainable fresh take on the more traditional bow. I think these are so fun!

Virtual Party Planning Sessions now available!! 🎉🎉 I’m so excited to finally be able to offer these sessions to clients near and far! I’ll be offering 30 minute party planning sessions beginning March 1st. These sessions are ideally scheduled before you begin planning your event. During our session, I’ll get to know you and your style a bit, and I’ll work with you to craft a theme, menu, decor, invitation ideas, even outfits for your little one if you’d like! Following the session, I’ll share a Pinterest Board with ideas for your party and notes from our session. The cost of this 30 minute virtual session is $35. I will also offer add-on services such as invitation design and printing, Amazon shopping lists (takes the guess work out of buying party supplies), and vendor recommendations. I will post a scheduling link on March 1st but if you already have dates in mind, just message me, and I will get you on my calendar. I can’t wait to plan with y’all!! 💕

Society Moms is here! After a lot of (too much!) thought, Society Moms went through a little re-design in preparation for our March 11th event. Our registration link is live, and I’m pulling together resources, sponsors, and sitters for us! If you’d like to join us as we build a strong community of Moms, we’d LOVE to have you! I'll facilitate a group meet-and-greet, then we'll break into small groups. This is a *Free* event, and childcare will be provided.

I’m so thrilled to announce what I hope will be a super exciting opportunity for local Moms! As a Mom and an Event Planner, this seems like the most natural next step. I am eager to join together with other Moms as we make new and meaningful connections with one another. This is an opportunity to find your tribe, meet new friends in a similar life stage, and take time to better your own wellbeing. It is my sincere hope that this will grow into many other events, play dates, and meet ups in the future. I’ll be posting more information as it becomes available about our first event on March 4th. These turned out so fun! Three Reveler’s Valentine’s Day Sensory Box. These include two jars of homemade play dough, a mini rolling pin, mini heart-shaped cookie cutter, mini cupcake liner, pom poms, jewels, foam rose, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners!
