🚨 NEW THEME LOADING 🚨

Thanks to the custom request of one soon-to-be 10 year old…we’ve got a new theme on the horizon. Of course, it will not be available for booking until after her party date (since customs get to be firsts) but just for fun….any guesses?? I’ll give hints 🙂

First hint…it’s currently all the rage with all the kids!

Themed party? What comes to mind? Perhaps, you’re picturing themed plates and table cloths. But, that’s not we do here 🙂 While we do have an add-on option for character plates and napkins…during my 20+ years planning themed parties, I’ve learned that plates aren’t what make a party memorable…it’s the experience! So, our themes are immersive.

🦖 For example, for today’s Dino party my goal was to bring a Dino jungle to the Portal. I used hanging swirls, pointed poms, and fake foliage for some jungle greenery. We’ve also got a Dino cave, a Dino egg hunt, and Triceratop horn ring toss. You can even feed some “baby dinosaurs.” Now that’s what we call themed!

🦕 This family opted for the Wish upgrade which also included a host for the first hour with a guided craft and party favors for ten children. Thus, each child was able to “adopt” a Dino and paint and decorate a carrier for their new pet. After getting a check up at the vet they were issued their official adoption certificates.

Thanks to Tamara Dalton inviting her friends, I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers in the past few days and wanted to welcome you all and introduce myself 🙂

🧚 I’m Shanna Wampler, owner (and social media manager, website designer, accountant, planner, host, and janitor 😎) of Party Portal….a venue designed with kids in mind. I offer affordable, yet magically themed birthday packages to bring imagination to life.

🎉 I’m also a mom of one myself and long time aunt of many. I started helping with my nieces’ and nephews’ parties 21 years ago. I figured out the important aspects of what make a party memorable…and which expenses could be spared. I also realized a lot of money was spent on decorations never used again. I saw the stress hosting a party can cause parents who’d really rather just be more present in the special moments. Thus, Party Portal was born!

💵 I keep costs low by sharing decor and buying in bulk. I offer a private, decorated safe space for kids that you don’t have to clean up after. And if you want a fully stress free party, we offer upgraded packages that include nearly everything you need, including the cupcakes.

We hosted our new package for the first time on Sunday which included our immersive decorating of our private venue for their party. 🙂

Surprisingly, we’ve not had a Princess party booked since 2024! This theme was the first I ever designed for Party Portal and a classic favorite of mine. They opted for the toddler play setup but this is also available with our crafting/activity tables if choosing to add our craft or bring in your own…or just as extra tables for playing any of our games.

Yesterday’s birthday family enjoyed our affordable private venue rental pricing hosting a very special first birthday where they could decorate themselves in their preferred time frame. I’m so thankful they chose Party Portal and can’t wait to see photos of their “O’Fishally One” theme 🙂
