Dear Friends,
It is with a heart full of gratitude and sadness, I’m officially closing Spark a Dream Princess Parties (for now). You might have noticed we have been hard to reach and missing in the community recently. Three and a half years ago I moved to Florida to see a lifelong dream come true. It was intended to be temporary but has continued to grow and bless my life.
Since moving I have struggled to keep Spark open despite my move because I knew we how much magic we made in New England. I tired many work arounds, like doing back office work remotely or temporary patches like having a local cast member coordinate, with the intention that I would be home and back to performing and running Spark soon but sometimes life will throw you onto a different path and I don’t have plans to come back to New England permanently soon.
I am immensely proud of Spark a Dream. I started performing princess parties in 2015, by 2018 I made the decision to open my own company to bring higher quality characters to New England and so Spark a Dream was born. As Spark evolved from just me and my cosplay closet to a full cast of characters and dedicated performers, I have enjoyed *every single* birthday celebration, princess tea, and holiday event that we had the privilege to be invited to. Even the Zoom gigs in 2020! I loved watching repeat families grow up, took pride in planning full company events, and strove to make sure our characters were bringing beloved stories to life in an authentic way from their tiaras to their toes. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your world in such a meaningful way for so long.
Thank you so much to our clients, everyone who was part of my cast in any capacity in the last 8 years, and especially to my parents who opened their home to be a base for performers, a royal closet, and a princess hair salon from the beginning. Spark a Dream represents such a vivid and happy era of my life and I am sad to finally close that chapter officially (even temporarily) despite the joyous things I’m doing now. I hope someday my next right thing is to return to New England but for now we continue to go into the unknown!
Warm Hugs! 💙
