Happy Memorial Day weekend! The shop will be closed until Tuesday May 26th.

I have to say the shop had any incredible week! We had some beautiful prom orders go out, our cookie decorating workshop was so fun and yummy! Pam and I also attending the Killingly Business Association spring mixer which was a blast!

What a fun weekend it was for us here at Mountain Laurel Floral Designs!

We hosted another upbeat and crowd pleasing Mother’s Day floral arranging workshop this past Friday evening. I’m so amazing by the designs everyone came up with.

We strive to offer a unique experience that engages your creative mind and helps you explore different possibilities with flowers. I think these ladies did an amazing job!

We can’t wait to host the next one!

🍪 Meet the heart behind Cookies and Crumbs Home Bakery — Dorothy Miller

What started during COVID as cookie boxes and Christmas assortments to spread a little happiness quickly turned into a bakery built on love, tradition, and sweet memories. From growing up surrounded by homemade meals and baked treats to creating cookies that brighten someone’s day, every batch is made with joy and from the heart. ✨

Join us this Friday, May 22nd from 4–6 PM for a special cookie decorating workshop! Learn fun decorating techniques and take home a tasty treat made with love.

Main Street in Danielson is looking a little brighter! 🌸

The downtown planters have officially been planted with beautiful flowers, helping to beautify and bring new life to our community spaces.

A huge thank you to these generous local businesses for their donations and support:
🌼 – flowers
🌱 – tons of rich compost
💐 .laurel.floralct – flowers

Another big shoutout to all of the amazing volunteers from the and Ellis Tech! Not only did volunteers plant the planters, but they also spent time weeding sidewalks and picking up trash throughout downtown.

Lastly, a big thank you to the Killingly Highway Department for moving the planters in and out of storage every year and keeping them safe!

Your hard work and community pride make such a difference. Thank you for helping keep Danielson beautiful!
