This Saturday was St. Lucia's Day December 13th which is a beloved Swedish festival marking the start of Christmas, celebrating light in the winter darkness with candlelight processions led by a girl in white wearing a wreath of candles, accompanied by singing, saffron buns and mulled wine (glögg). It was great to be able to cater and be part of this celebration with the Dania Beach Historical Society.
