Back in action!

Been a little quiet on here.

The amount of love, messages, calls, and support over the past few weeks has been overwhelming, in the best way.

It’s been a tough stretch handling everything with my dad and being there with my family, but I’m grateful I had that time and could be present for it.

I’ve done my best to get back to everyone individually. If I missed you, please know I truly appreciate you reaching out.

With that said, I’m starting to get back into the swing of things, back to work, back into creative mode, and back to doing what I love.

I appreciate you all more than you know.

Friends,

Many of you have been reaching out, and I truly appreciate the love and support.

My father, Harold Maxwell, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 13.

He spent his final week at Trustbridge Hospice at John Knox Village, and I can’t say enough about the compassion and care they showed him. They kept him comfortable and treated him with such kindness, and our family is very grateful.

Yesterday was his birthday. He would have turned 81, and we did our best to celebrate him.

I’ve been taking the weekend to be with family and working through the arrangements, so please forgive me if I haven’t responded to messages yet.

We are planning a service for next Sunday around midday and will share the final details soon.

Your love, prayers, and kind messages have meant more than I can put into words during this difficult time.

For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of being part of this event, bringing joy, connection, and moments that truly matter for hundreds of amazing kids. Grateful for the trust, the partnership, and the opportunity to give back year after year through what I love.
